Botanics haul + review

Basically Boots had a 3 for 2 offer for Botanics products, my mum advised me that they were very good for your skin thus my mum and me stocked up on some of their products!

So far it is very skin friendly, I wanted to post about their products once its in my pattern for my everyday use as I wanted to test the product and see if my skin gotten better or if anything changed. Well firstly I’ll tell you guys what products I’m using.

1. Botanics Face Skin Brightening Cleanser- It is 250 ml of product and tends to remove ‘make up and any dirty grime that makes ur skin glow with health’. I personally bought this as I have some acne scars on my right cheek and hopefully by using this the scars will fade little by little, also I HAVEN’T BEEN using the products very long only been about a week so it might take a while for my skin to show results.

2. Face Moisturising Eye Cream- I know i’m still in my teenage years but I have heard that if you start using eye creams at a moderate age (obviously not at a really young age) then it can prevent you from crows feet and any fine lines around your eyes. The product is 15 ml, which is quite a lot for an eye cream. It states that it will skin feeling smoother and softer, which is basically what I NEED especially due to the cold weather as my skin gets very dry especially under my eye and when I put any sort of concealer to conceal my eyebags e.g. cream, mineral etc it gets very dry even if I apply just a teeny amount! Well thanks to this product my application for my concealers are easier to apply on and it doesn’t leave it dry and looking cakey! This is definetly a must have item for me!

3. Instant glow tinted moisturiser 75ml- This definetly feels light on my skin it doesn’t cover up my spots and dark circles but gives a light to medium coverage. It just feels so healthy and it has ginkgo extracts which protects your collagen meaning the protein will protect you prevent from wrinkles as it provides the skin strength and flexibility. The only bad thing about this product is the smell, i’m not sure if its due to the gingko in the product as the gingko trees are known for their bad smell, so that might be the reason, the closest comparison of the smell I can think of is of green tea. Also another disadvantage is that this is quite a dark colour for me and it only comes in one shade of colour. I think that is one of Botanics flaw, they only have limited of products.

4. Rosewater Toner- Removes any dirt or makeup on my skin without drying the skin and leaves the skin feeling soft. I absolutely love the smell -ROSEwater obviously smells of roses and it’s value for money £3.99. I use a cotton pad and use it on my face and neck plus the ingredients are all natural.

I highly recommend Botanics I sometimes think self brands like them get overlooked at most of the times, I trust their products as they are all natural and use plant extracts from their gardens also its inexpensive, so why not!

Well I do have some more products but I haven’t used them as much as I’d liked to give a review about, so I will post about them when i’m use to the product. Anyway prolly bored you guys enough
